1/3 Octave Band
Analyzing a sound source by frequency basis is really time-consuming, this is where one-third of octave bands make the difference.
ST15D applies 1/3 octave band analysis.
The 1/3 octave analysis is carried out using real-time band-pass filtering with decimation technique. This allows complex sound to be split into smaller sections or bands which then produce detailed filter shapes to accurately specify noise source.
Measure sound level, detect sound frequency spectrum in real time, and locate the source of sound from one device.
The integrated GPS shows start and end-point of sound location details.
